Accessibility Statement
National Choice Mortgage Inc. (“National Choice Mortgage,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people of all abilities, including those who use assistive technology such as screen readers, screen magnifiers, voice recognition software, or keyboard-only navigation. We believe everyone should be able to research mortgage options, use our calculators, and request a quote without unnecessary barriers, and we work continually to improve the experience for all visitors.
Conformance status
The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) define requirements for designers and developers to improve accessibility for people with disabilities. WCAG has three levels of conformance: A, AA, and AAA. This website is designed and developed with the goal of conforming to WCAG 2.1 Level AA. WCAG conformance is an ongoing effort rather than a one-time achievement, and some areas of the site may not yet fully meet every success criterion. We treat any such gap as a priority to be corrected, not an acceptable end state.
Measures we take to support accessibility
Accessibility is addressed as part of how this website is built and maintained, including:
- Semantic HTML structure with meaningful headings, landmarks, and reading order
- A “skip to main content” link for keyboard and screen reader users
- Visible keyboard focus indicators on links, buttons, and form fields
- Descriptive alt text for informative images, and decorative graphics hidden from assistive technology
- Labeled form fields on our quote request and calculator forms, with clear error and success messaging
- Sufficient color contrast between text and background throughout the site
- Text that resizes and reflows without loss of content or function
- Reduced motion for users who indicate a preference for less animation at the system level
- Keyboard-operable navigation menus, including dropdown and mobile menus
Compatibility
This website is designed to be compatible with recent versions of major browsers (Chrome, Safari, Firefox, and Edge) and with commonly used assistive technologies, including screen readers such as JAWS, NVDA, and VoiceOver. Some third-party content or tools embedded on this site, such as external mapping or scheduling widgets, are outside our direct control and may not fully match this same standard.
Known limitations
Despite our ongoing efforts, some content or functionality on this website may not yet be fully accessible. This can include older documents, third-party integrations, or content added before an accessibility review.
